We Have a Winner!
The Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation pulled their first winning ticket for their annual Care & Win Lottery. Alecia Vella of St. Catharines won $1000 in the first early bird draw on Aug 6th. The second early bird prize for $1000 is still up for grabs until Sept. 10th and the grand prize draw for $20,000 will be awarded on Oct. 15th.
Tickets are $20 each or a book of 6 for $100. Only 5,000 tickets are printed. Additional cash prizes include draws for $5,000, $2,000, $1,000, $500, $400, $300, $200 and 30 $100 prizes.
Last years lottery made $19,000 for the foundation. “We always get great support from the community and it would be wonderful to sell out this year. In the 15 years we’ve held the lottery, we’ve never sold out.” Shelley Rollo, DHHF Executive Director said.
Tickets are available at all Dunnville banks, area CIBC branches, many local businesses and at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital cafeteria and gift shop. Tickets are also available at the Foundation office from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., 322 Broad St. W. or from any foundation member.
